Doctor Who in America

Doctor Who DVD is heading Stateside, with the Time Lord heading for America for a forthcoming two-parter. Based on the BBC, scenes will be filmed in the Utah desert for a 1960s-set story in which the Doctor is summoned to the Oval Office. Script is by show-runner Steven Moffat, and includes roles for fan favourites Amy Pond, Rory Williams and River Song. The show starts shooting in Cardiff later this month, with the US episodes set to air in the spring.
