True Blood Casts Beauties

True Blood dvd's Season 4 keeps filling roles left and right. Deadline is reporting that Janina Gavankar (The L Word dvd), Alexandra Breckenridge (Life Unexpected dvd) and Vedette Lim (As the World Turns dvd) have joined the big show.So who will these three lovely ladies be playing? Well, Gavankar will play Luna, a sexy shape-shifting school teacher who is "first seen attending an informal gathering with others like her." Breckenridge will play Daisy, a member of "a wiccan group founded by Marnie" and a role that was just recently filled by Harry Potter dvd's Fiona Shaw. And Lim will portray Naomi, a fierce cage fighter.

Jorge Garcia Cast In New J.J. Abrams

Lost dvd alum Jorge Garcia has been cast in J.J. Abrams' Fox drama Alcatraz, reports Deadline. The hush-hush storyline line focuses on mysteries involving the infamous, hard-time federal penitentiary at Alcatraz, which closed nearly a half-century ago. Lost dvd box set's Carlton Cuse returns for Civil War project. The 37-year-old Garcia, who will play Alcatraz expert Diego Soto, is best known for his role as Hugo "Hurley" Reyes on Abrams' ABC drama Lost box set.

New characters for Season 4 of True Blood

What new characters for us in Season 4 of True Blood dvd? Well, Michael Ausiello got the scoop about some of the major newbie faces you'll be seeing. As always, if you've read the Charlaine Harris novels then you already have a good idea of what lies ahead. Alan Ball has already talked about how excited he is to bring out the witch-tastic Hallow Stonebrook character, but here are some of the others:Marnie – a bottom-barrel fortune teller "who's painfully aware of what a joke she is — that is, until she comes to be possessed by the spirit of a real witch." Ausiello speculates that this might actually turn out to be Hallow.Portia – Sheriff Andy's lawyer sister. Described as being "as easy on the eyes as she is sharp in the courtroom." And yes, she'll be naked a lot.Naomi – a sexy Asian-American cage fighter who is runs "hot n' heavy" with one of her female competitors.Queen Mab – an "elegant beauty who presides over a fantasy land." Okay, I made that last one up.True Blood dvd box set shining beacon of this season was Dennis O'Hare's Russell Edgington, as I'm usually a sucker for erudite, sophisticated villains who can turn ferocious and blood-thirsty at the drop of a hat. O'Hare managed to spice up the proceedings in a way that none of the other new characters could. He also really brought a sense of history and to the vampiric goings-on and lent that world a much needed aristocratic boost.

Carradine signs on for 'Big Bang Theory'

Keith Carradine has signed on for a role in the hit CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory dvd. Entertainment Weekly claims that Carradine will play lead character Penny's father in one episode. Half-brother to the late David Carradine, Keith will portray Frank Lundy on the series, although details surrounding the episode's plot are unknown right now. Last year, Emmy award-winning actress Christine Baranski appeared in an episode of the series as Leonard's mother. Carradine's episode of The Big Bang Theory will air this November.

Is Nikita's New Boyfriend Damaged Goods?

Deadline's got a lot of casting items today; including the news that Damages DVD actor Noah Bean has joined Nikita as a CIA case officer named Ryan Fletcher. We knew that the series was going to be getting some new characters and that at least one would be a potential love interest for Maggie Q's Nikita DVD. We're not sure if Bean's our, um, her man, but it looks promising.

Mindy Sterling (The Austin Powers films) and comedian Natasha Leggero have joined the Thomas Lennon/Robert Ben Garant (Reno 911! DVD) FX space comedy pilot, Alabama. Sterling will play "Doc", the ship's doctor, while Leggero will play "Roxy Sexbot," the team's over-used sex robot.

The Hangover's Bryan Callen has been added onto the cast of MTV's new darkly-comedic zombie-hunter series Death Valley as "Captain Jim Dashell."

Plot details for new 'Oz' movie surface?

Plot details for Sam Raimis upcoming movie OZ DVD: The Great and Powerful have reportedly been revealed.
Raimi finalised a deal with Disney recording to direct the Wizard of OZ box set prequel, which tells the story of the Wizard before the events of the classic MGM musical.
According to Pajiba, the story follows the Wizard, a snake-oil salesman posing as a magician, as he enters Oz dvd box set via a hot-air balloon, which he makes use of to flee an angry husband who has observed that he slept with his wife.
There, the Wizard - a fast-talking huckster who wears a velveteen frock coat - apparently falls in love with Glinda (the Good Witch), and the two combine forces to fight the Evil Witches Evanora and Theodora. Both Evanora and Theodora are called incredibly attractive, seductive women.
Robert Downey Jr. is rumoured to play Oz.

Gunn slams Lady GaGa's fashion sense

Tim Gunn has stated that he doesn't like Lady GaGa's sense of style.
The Project Runway dvd host, who recently accepted that he contemplated suicide as a teenager owing to his sexuality, said that he does not see singer GaGa's outrageous outfits as "fashion" but as stage costumes.
The TV star told OMG: "Who would wish to emulate that? It's not fashion. Those are costumes."
Gunn also revealed that he is "mystified" at Kate Gosselin's transformation from a "soccer mum" to a "cougar", but said that he approves of Gossip Girl dvd box set actress Blake Lively's taste, saying that she "understands clothes".

Doctor Who in America

Doctor Who DVD is heading Stateside, with the Time Lord heading for America for a forthcoming two-parter. Based on the BBC, scenes will be filmed in the Utah desert for a 1960s-set story in which the Doctor is summoned to the Oval Office. Script is by show-runner Steven Moffat, and includes roles for fan favourites Amy Pond, Rory Williams and River Song. The show starts shooting in Cardiff later this month, with the US episodes set to air in the spring. Galeotti won't leave One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill dvd star Bethany Joy Galeotti has was adamant that she will not be leaving the show.
The 29-year-old actress, who plays Hayley James Scott in the teen drama, denied suggestions that she is planning an early exit from the show's eighth and final season so that you can begin maternity leave.
"I'm absolutely staying!" she assuredt. "I'll be here until the bitter end, I am sure. I don't know where that rumour originate from, but I'm not going anywhere."
Galeotti also expressed her wish for The CW to grant the show a planned nine-episode extension, hoping that this would allow her band Everley to cover the One Tree Hill dvd box set theme song.
"We have been asked, and we decide to. We were a little busy for this first go-round, but if we get the back nine, we'll be able to do one."

Swift 'dropped song to prevent mum crying'

Taylor Swift has says she dropped a song from her tour because her mother started crying every time she heard it.
The singer's track 'The Best Day' was written in honour of her mother Andrea, and Taylor had included the song in her setlist when she began her Fearless tour in 2009.
However, the popstar was forced to ditch the track from her live show since her mother burst into tears whenever she watched backstage.
Andrea said: "She had to drop it from the set because I kept breaking down."

It turned out previously declared that two characters from Atlantis would appear in a forthcoming episode of SGU. 'Modern Family' premieres to series high

Modern Family dvd reached a series high upon its second season premiere last night, early viewing figures show.Wednesday's opener, 'The Old Wagon', averaged a huge 12.61m and a 5. rating with adults 18-49 for ABC at 9pm.Cougar Town dvd followed on the network with 8.35m for its respective launch, while The Middle amused 8.81m at 8pm. Romantic comedy Better With You dvd, starring Joanna Garcia and Jennifer Finnigan, opened to 7.97m at 8.30pm.Later at 10pm, the network plunged to 4.91m as new legal drama series The Whole Truth logged just 4.91m, being thrashed by rival courtroom remake The Defenders, which took 12.09m for CBS.Earlier on the network, Survivor: Nicaragua entertained 12.47m, and Criminal Minds box set returned with a hefty 14.08m.Elsewhere, NBC action drama Undercovers kicked off with 8.57m, then the two-hour Law & Order: SVU dvd premiere managed 10.02m.Over on Fox, 6.57m saw Gordon Ramsay introduce a new set of contestants to Hell's Kitchen, while America's Next Top Model dvd and Hellcats found respective audiences of 2.82m and 2.32m.

Doctor Who Star Davies teases Jo Grant 'SJA' return

Russell T Davies has was adamant that the return of former Doctor Who dvd box set companion Jo Grant won't spoil the character's original exit.
An assistant to Jon Pertwee's Doctor from 1971 to 1973, Jo is caused by reappear in a forthcoming episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures dvd.
Jo parted ways with the Doctor Who Seasons 1-5 dvd in order to explore the Amazon jungle with new fianc Cliff Jones .
The Sarah Jane Adventures series dvd will go back to BBC One for a fourth series in October.

The new season of The Apprentice

After 3 years of playing host to rockers, actors, playmates, wrestlers and disgraced politicians, Donald Trump is likely to give attention to something far more serious: the recession.
The Apprentice Seasons DVD, the 16 individuals competing to be Trump's new right-hand man have been hit hard by the economy.
"The initial Apprentice dvds was in high-flying times where it was about earning more, making more. Now it's about survival. It's about people who really realize only one is getting that job with Trump," executive producer Mark Burnett said on a recent conference call.
This season, the 10th in the Apprentice franchise, marks a return to the show's original concept. The ratings show the show badly needs a boost. The first season finale drew more than 28 million viewers in the spring 2004. Just 7.94 million tuned in for the Season 6 conclusion. Celebrity Apprentice has since taken over, most recently with Bret Michaels winning the title in May.
Although Burnett says there had been discussions with NBC about how to redo the original Apprentice dvd box set , the network initially ordered a fourth celebrity edition.

Spooks Seasons 1-8 star Richard Armitage has revealed that viewers will discover more about his character Lucas North in the upcoming ninth series MI5 DVD.

He confirmed that new character Vaughn (Iain Glen) and love interest Maya (Laila Rouass) would shed light on the spy's mysterious past.

What happened to The Office Next

Everyone knows that Steve Carell is leaving The Office seasons 1-6, and thus Michael Scott is leaving Dunder Mifflin. But what goes on to cause this in the storyline is still a big question C along with who will replace Michael. Will someone like Dwight or Darryl be promoted from within? Or will a new character be brought in? It appears every other day there's a new rumor, as we hear the likes of Danny McBride could be joining the show, only to then hear something completely different.

When I spoke to Paul Lieberstein about the office Season 7 of the series recently, I knew he wasn't going to just up and tell me all the secrets. The Office dvd creators, along with hints at what's to come for Michael, Jim and more this year.
