Swift 'dropped song to prevent mum crying'

Taylor Swift has says she dropped a song from her tour because her mother started crying every time she heard it.
The singer's track 'The Best Day' was written in honour of her mother Andrea, and Taylor had included the song in her setlist when she began her Fearless tour in 2009.
However, the popstar was forced to ditch the track from her live show since her mother burst into tears whenever she watched backstage.
Andrea said: "She had to drop it from the set because I kept breaking down."

'SGU' teases 'Atlantis' crossover

Stargate Universe dvd producer Brad Wright has says the upcoming crossover with Stargate Atlantis dvd will introduce more humour into the series. It turned out previously declared that two characters from Atlantis would appear in a forthcoming episode of SGU. Wright admitted that it will be difficult to please fans of both series with the crossover episode. Stargate Universe returns this Tuesday at 9/8c on Syfy

'Modern Family' premieres to series high

Modern Family dvd reached a series high upon its second season premiere last night, early viewing figures show.Wednesday's opener, 'The Old Wagon', averaged a huge 12.61m and a 5. rating with adults 18-49 for ABC at 9pm.Cougar Town dvd followed on the network with 8.35m for its respective launch, while The Middle amused 8.81m at 8pm. Romantic comedy Better With You dvd, starring Joanna Garcia and Jennifer Finnigan, opened to 7.97m at 8.30pm.Later at 10pm, the network plunged to 4.91m as new legal drama series The Whole Truth logged just 4.91m, being thrashed by rival courtroom remake The Defenders, which took 12.09m for CBS.Earlier on the network, Survivor: Nicaragua entertained 12.47m, and Criminal Minds box set returned with a hefty 14.08m.Elsewhere, NBC action drama Undercovers kicked off with 8.57m, then the two-hour Law & Order: SVU dvd premiere managed 10.02m.Over on Fox, 6.57m saw Gordon Ramsay introduce a new set of contestants to Hell's Kitchen, while America's Next Top Model dvd and Hellcats found respective audiences of 2.82m and 2.32m.

Doctor Who Star Davies teases Jo Grant 'SJA' return

Russell T Davies has was adamant that the return of former Doctor Who dvd box set companion Jo Grant won't spoil the character's original exit.
An assistant to Jon Pertwee's Doctor from 1971 to 1973, Jo is caused by reappear in a forthcoming episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures dvd.
Jo parted ways with the Doctor Who Seasons 1-5 dvd in order to explore the Amazon jungle with new fianc Cliff Jones .
The Sarah Jane Adventures series dvd will go back to BBC One for a fourth series in October.

The new season of The Apprentice

After 3 years of playing host to rockers, actors, playmates, wrestlers and disgraced politicians, Donald Trump is likely to give attention to something far more serious: the recession.
The Apprentice Seasons DVD, the 16 individuals competing to be Trump's new right-hand man have been hit hard by the economy.
"The initial Apprentice dvds was in high-flying times where it was about earning more, making more. Now it's about survival. It's about people who really realize only one is getting that job with Trump," executive producer Mark Burnett said on a recent conference call.
This season, the 10th in the Apprentice franchise, marks a return to the show's original concept. The ratings show the show badly needs a boost. The first season finale drew more than 28 million viewers in the spring 2004. Just 7.94 million tuned in for the Season 6 conclusion. Celebrity Apprentice has since taken over, most recently with Bret Michaels winning the title in May.
Although Burnett says there had been discussions with NBC about how to redo the original Apprentice dvd box set , the network initially ordered a fourth celebrity edition.

Spooks Seasons 1-8 star Richard Armitage has revealed that viewers will discover more about his character Lucas North in the upcoming ninth series MI5 DVD.

He confirmed that new character Vaughn (Iain Glen) and love interest Maya (Laila Rouass) would shed light on the spy's mysterious past.

Armitage also hinted that viewers should expect revelations and plot twists throughout the mi5(spook) series dvd .

What happened to The Office Next

Everyone knows that Steve Carell is leaving The Office seasons 1-6, and thus Michael Scott is leaving Dunder Mifflin. But what goes on to cause this in the storyline is still a big question C along with who will replace Michael. Will someone like Dwight or Darryl be promoted from within? Or will a new character be brought in? It appears every other day there's a new rumor, as we hear the likes of Danny McBride could be joining the show, only to then hear something completely different.

When I spoke to Paul Lieberstein about the office Season 7 of the series recently, I knew he wasn't going to just up and tell me all the secrets. The Office dvd creators, along with hints at what's to come for Michael, Jim and more this year.
